LIVE AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. LIVE BIDDING ONLY

This auction will be conducted as a traditional live, in-person auction. All bids must be placed at the auction location during the live auction. There is no online bidding. The auctioneer will determine when bidding has ended and declare each item sold.

2. BUYER’S PREMIUM

A 15% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the final hammer price of each item purchased. The total purchase price will be the winning bid plus the 15% Buyer’s Premium.

3. SALES TAX

No sales tax will be charged at this auction.

4. PAYMENT TERMS

All purchases must be paid for in full on the day of the auction. No exceptions unless arrangements have been approved by Christy’s of Indiana prior to bidding.

Accepted forms of payment include:

• Cash

• Check

• Credit Card

All payments must be made before purchased items are removed from the auction premises.

5. ALL ITEMS SOLD AS-IS, WHERE-IS

All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied. All sales are final. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be permitted.

Buyers are encouraged to inspect all items before bidding. It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine the condition, completeness, quality, and suitability of any item purchased.

6. BIDDER REGISTRATION

All bidders must register and obtain a bidder number before participating in the auction. By registering and bidding, each bidder acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Bidders are responsible for all purchases made using their assigned bidder number.

7. AUCTIONEER'S AUTHORITY

The auctioneer has complete authority over the conduct of the auction, including bid increments, bid acceptance, and resolution of bidding disputes.

8. ITEM REMOVAL & LOADOUT

All purchases must be paid for before removal. Buyers are responsible for loading, securing, and transporting their purchases.

Buyers must provide their own labor, equipment, and transportation necessary for removal of purchased items.

Any damage to the property or premises caused during removal shall be the responsibility of the buyer.

9. ANNOUNCEMENTS

Any announcements made by the auctioneer on auction day shall take precedence over previously published information, advertising, or printed materials.

10. LIABILITY

All persons attending the auction do so at their own risk. Christy’s of Indiana, Inc., the seller, and their representatives shall not be responsible for accidents, injuries, theft, loss, or damage to personal property, except to the extent required by applicable law.

11. FAILURE TO PAY

All winning bids constitute a binding purchase obligation. Buyers who fail to complete payment may be prohibited from participating in future Christy’s of Indiana auctions and may be held responsible for applicable losses or expenses resulting from nonpayment.

12. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Christy’s of Indiana, Inc. reserves the right to refuse bidder registration, bidding privileges, or participation to any individual, subject to applicable law.
